Nice cottage with a garden and BBQ facilities, perfect for a relaxing evening. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. The place was clean, modern, and comfortable. The cottage had everything we needed, making our stay convenient and hassle-free.
The shower area and washbasin were a bit tight and small, which could be inconvenient for some guests. The wifi was challenging, especially for laptop users, as it was intermittent and not strong enough for team meetings.

The location of the cottage is stunning, situated by a beautiful river. the garden with BBQ and fresh eggs from the chickens adds a charming touch. the place is clean, modern, and well-appointed, with a great kitchen and a fabulous bathroom. the hosts are friendly and accommodating, and even provide a freshly baked loaf as a special treat.
Some kitchen items could be upgraded and the bed linen is of poor quality.

I recently stayed at the charming River Cottage in Bala for a 2-night getaway with friends. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. The hosts were warm and welcoming, providing a delicious breakfast hamper on our arrival. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated with lovely wooden furniture and curtains, and a cozy fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere. The towels and bedding were fresh and clean, and the peaceful garden with the sound of the nearby water stream was incredibly relaxing. The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions like Zipworld adventures. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

My stay at the riverside cottage was absolutely delightful. The cottage is nestled in a beautiful garden, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The newly decorated house was clean and well-maintained, perfect for a party of four. We enjoyed indulging in cheese and wine without the stress of pub closing times. The location was convenient, with all the key attractions within an hour's drive. Plus, the opportunity to observe the stars in the garden was a special treat.
I did encounter a few minor issues during my stay. The wifi was a bit challenging, especially for my laptop, making it difficult for team meetings.

I had an absolutely marvelous time at Ty'R Afon - River Cottage. The garden and decked area were my favorite spots to unwind and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. I loved watching the chickens while my daughter enjoyed swingball and the great wifi. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, and having an electric car charging point was a convenient bonus. Ros and Dusty, the owners, were friendly and went above and beyond by even mailing us a towel we accidentally left behind. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage!
I wish we had booked to stay longer because leaving this gorgeous place was hard. The only issue I had was with the internet, as I had an important business meeting and the wifi was too weak for a Zoom call.
